I really enjoyed this book, especially chapters I think that grpups I run into Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials in real life and need a reference for the basic facts, this will serve, but it didn’t work as bedside reading.
In this graduate textbook Professor Humphreys presents a concrete and up-to-date introduction to the theory of Coxeter groups. Refresh and try again. At the same time the material dealing with recent developments such as Kazhdan-Lusztig theory will be most useful to specialists in the area.
