I remember reading this on my way to mass with my mum and dad in the front and it was the scene were Abe, Anna and Emma-line are being toured by Marcus, I cant remember fully it but this is me parapharisng “all I saw was Marcus hand reaching into Abe’s belly and pushed further and further in until his whole hand was lost. All these inspired the Winter Trilogy. A Witch in Winter. I don’t usually like witcb about witches since most of them would be all “learning witchcraft”. I love that it is a paranormal romance that doesn’t leave me wanting to vomit due to the pure soppy ridiculousness of the main character who loses it entirely to be with a creature that ultimately wants to eat her alive.
Some books might have too many conflicts, I got tired and sometimes awrburton book can have not enough I get bored even though I love happy endings, I don’t really like it if the warbhrton char is too happy. A Witch Alone was a lot more emotional than I imagined it would be and my ever-growing love for Abe continued.
A Witch Alone is darker then the first two books and Ruth Warburton is excellent at tugging at the heartstrings. One thing I have to add is that shock warbburton to my core was the gore at the end. Tbh I enjoyed book 1 I thought book z was interesting then this book I was like why did I even bother 2 read this? I tried to love it, like I loved the other two, but there were a lot of wtch with this book.

As for Seth himself, I liked that he stepped up in this book and I liked him more, his past was explained in a bit more detail and that helped me to connect to his character.
